 Create a Picture Frame

Introduction:
Making gifts is one of the most rewarding ways to use artistic skills. Create a picture frame and put a special picture in it for a friend or family member.

Materials:

  • 8"X10" precut mat with beveled window cut out 8"X10" matboard
  • Double stick tape
  • 8" cardboard, easel back
  • Funky films
  • Funky furs

Funky Films are holographic/prismatic shimmering sheets of adhesive backed films. Available in 30 different acid free colors and designs. Just cut, peel and stick! Funky Furs are new imitation animal print furs. Available in six exotic patterns. Washable and packed with a sheet of double stick material.

Directions:
1) Decide what shapes you would like place on your picture frame and where you would like to place them.
2) If you are using funky fur, adhere the double stick sheet to the back side of the furry sheet. Now it is ready for you to cut shapes out of it. Funky films are ready right out of the package!
3) Cut shapes out of Funky Film and Funky Fur and arrange them on the front of the precut mat. Peel the backing sheets off them and adhere them to the mat.
4) Use double stick tape to adhere a picture to the precut mat. Put double stick tape in the corners of the precut mat. Line the 8"X10" piece of matboard up with it. Stick them together.
5) Stick the easel back on the back of the matboard to hold the frame up. Give the picture and frame to someone special!
