Michele Théberge,
a professional artist and Education Advisor
for Liquitex, has received extensive
training in the methods, mechanics, and
chemistry of Liquitex acrylic paints
and painting mediums. Théberge
received her MFA from the California
College of Arts and Crafts. Her paintings,
drawings and installations have been
exhibited in various museums and galleries
internationally. Her works evoke spaciousness
and otherworldly qualities through repetition,
simplicity and playful or mysterious
figurative references. As a teacher and
lecturer on art for over 19 years, her
particular passion is the intuitive creative
process and sharing that joy with her
students. As an Education Advisor for
Liquitex, she has gained unparalleled
expertise in acrylics and has been invited
to speak at hundreds of colleges and
universities in North America.
