OPEN TO: U.S. artisans who produce handmade goods, Made in America -AND- U.S. based artisans who sell high quality, handmade, ethically sourced, and fair trade items from outside of the U.S. Vendors with strictly vintage or antique items are not accepted.

LOOKING FOR: Product craftsmanship, creativity, and uniqueness. If you're a returning applicant, show your current line of goods and booth display. Creative and current representation of your product and brand with professional and creative booth presentation/merchandising/signage. Web presence is a plus, but not mandatory

The International Watermedia 2019 exhibition is open to all artists, 18 years or older. Paintings must be predominantly watermedia on paper, claybord, Yupo, illustration board, silk or canvas. Watermedia includes watercolor, acrylic, or gouache. Paintings must be original and sole work of the artist and cannot have been done in a class or workshop setting. Only one painting will be accepted from an individual artist.

BIG INK, a nationally recognized print arts organization, is traveling to Red Delicious Press in 2019 for a two-day event where prints will be pulled from large-scale woodblock plates carved ahead of time by sixteen artists. We are seeking image proposals from emerging, mid-career, and established visual artists who would like to carve a woodblock, at least 24" x 36" in dimension, to print at the event. No prior printmaking experience is required. Any artist that has an interest in print media and wants to achieve a deeper understanding of woodblock carving is welcome to apply.The artists' sole responsibility will be to bring a fully carved and ready to print woodblock on their assigned printing day. All consumable materials including paper, ink, cleaning supplies and equipment usage are included with participation.

The Georgetown Cultural Arts Program presents their second Plein Air event in picturesque Georgetown, Colorado. Just 45 minutes west of Denver along I-70 at 8,500 ft elevation, and part of the Georgetown-Silver Plume National Landmark Historic District, the town is full of colorful Victorian buildings ringed by mountain views, Georgetown has long been a favorite of artists. Registration and exhibition will be held at Georgetown Heritage Center, recently restored 1874 schoolhouse, for this painting event in the summer mountain air!

All fine arts mediums are acceptable, using plein air technique. All artwork must be created outdoors on stamped canvas or other medium on August 2nd or 3rd within the defined boundary area. Although not a juried entry process, only qualified plein air artists are eligible for the exhibition and prizes. Plein air artists must submit a resume including exhibits and shows and three (3) images of plein air paintings in jpg format, or a link to a website displaying their work in this genre. Exhibit space is limited, the first 50 qualified artist applicants will be accepted.

We want our Art Walks to create a 'spectacle', something so big or so interesting or so powerful that visitors to the district walk away saying 'I want to come back'. Creators, makers, and artists - we need your help! These spectacle experiences could take the form of interactive art, large-scale temporary sculptures, performance art, video installation, or other. Your imagination is the only limitation. We love projects that invite audience participation, are immersive and/or interactive, and promote curiosity and spectacle. Approved Art Walk projects will receive up to a $500 stipend to complete their work.
