GENERAL INFORMATION

What type of classes do you offer?

We are focused on getting you started and demystifying art materials to make art-making accessible to all. Seasoned art-makers are welcome to add more to your art experiences.

Who are your instructors?

All instructors are our artistic and creative Meininger employees.

How do I register and pay for classes?

Registration is online only, go to meininger.com/classes-at-meiningers/>. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Can I use a Meininger Gift Card to purchase a class?

We cannot accept Gift Cards as payment online at this time...but we're working on it.

Can I use a Meininger Discount Coupon to sign up?

No, coupons do not apply to classes, they are for merchandise only. Exclusions include in-store coupons, Chinook Book, Campus Cash and any other promotions.

Where are the classes located?

Currently, all classes are held at our Denver store, 499 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203. MAP>

Is there parking?

There are two lots, one is adjacent to the south side of the building. The north lot is located at the northwest corner of 5th and Broadway, the entrance is on 5th Avenue. MAP>


Classes Information

Are the classes hands-on?

Yes, classes include a hands-on experience, it's the best way to learn to use the materials. Exceptions are demonstrations and seminars/talks/discussions.

What do I need to bring to class?

Any supplies required by the participant will be listed in the class description. All classes are "dress for mess and fun!" Bring paper/pen to take notes with. Please be on time and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class.

What supplies are provided?

All basic materials for the class are provided to get you started.

Where in the store are the classes held?

All classes are currently in our Denver store only MAP>, upstairs in the studio area.

Will there be a waiting list?

Online registration is via first come first served and will close the day before the class at noon. Class sizes are limited for the best learning scenario for both instructors and students. If registration is closed and you want to be placed on a waiting list, go to meininger.com/contact/> Put Wait List in the Order Number line and include your contact information, Name/Email/Phone. If there's more than one class offered, please indicate which class you want to be wait-listed for in Details. We will contact you if room becomes available.

What if the class gets cancelled?

If the class is cancelled due to inclement weather for the safety of you and our staff, we will notify you as soon as we possibly can via Instagram, Facebook and/or by contacting you via email or phone. You can also call the store at 303-698-3838, store closings are part of the recorded greeting.

If the class has to be cancelled because the instructor is unable to participate, you will be notified as soon as we possibly can, by the morning of class day.

If the class gets cancelled, will it be rescheduled?

Every effort will be made to reschedule the class.

What if I can't make it to the class?

There are no refunds for participant cancellations.

Is there walk-in registration on the day of the class?

Walk-in registration is not available. Registration will close at noon the day before the class.

Meininger Art Supply reserves the right to change class instructors if necessary.

Refunds

No refunds or make up for absences.

Transfers

Classes are not transferrable to another person.

Cancellations

When Meininger Art Supply has to cancel a class a 100% refund (due to illness/inclement weather only) will be issued via your payment method.
