Donations

Please note: Our Donation Policy has been revised as of June 2014

Every year H. R. Meininger Company receives hundreds of donation requests. Because of the overwhelming number of deserving requests we limit our donations to locally based nonprofit or charitable organizations.

In order to handle this large quantity of requests, we have set the following guidelines when submitting a donation request.

• All donation request submissions must be made in writing on your organization's letterhead and mailed or delivered to:

  Each request should include the following information:
  • Name of requesting organization
  • Contact name, address, phone number and email address
  • Event date
  • Who will benefit from proceeds
  
  
• We do not accept phone or email solicitations for donation requests
  
  
• All requests must have a minimum of 45 days notice before the date a response is needed
  
  
• Donations are awarded to Visual Arts Organizations that promote visual arts in the venue of juried art shows
  
  
• Donations are given in the form of Meininger Gift Cards. Gift Cards have no expiration date.
  
  
• Requests must meet all requirements
  
  
• Donation requests are reviewed by, and the decision is solely at the discretion of, the Donation Committee

We will make every effort to respond to your request at least three (3) weeks prior to the date of your event. Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we ask that NO telephone inquiries be made regarding the status of your request.

We also ask that organizations limit their request to one (1) per year in order to help the greatest number of organizations. Due to the volume of donation requests we cannot guarantee continual support year to year.
